The Rumba runs a 49-inch SL-shaped track with 4D rollers, which means the rollers move in and out as well as up, down and across. The track follows the spine from the shoulders to the glutes at roughly twice the length of a standard chair.
Its distinguishing feature is the PediStride system. Each foot rotates independently to imitate the natural motion of walking, which encourages blood flow and takes the ache out of tired legs. Under the feet, triple reflexology rollers work the heel, arch and toe.
Zero gravity comes in two positions, the second raising your legs above your heart. The wall hugger base pivots as it reclines, so the chair only needs 4.8 inches of clearance behind it. Twelve auto programmes, seven focus programmes and six manual modes cover the rest.
