Kyota Massage Chairs: An Honest Dealer Review
This is our assessment of Kyota as a dealer that carries the line, not a collection of customer reviews. We do not have published customer ratings for these chairs and we are not going to manufacture them, so what follows is what we have learned from having Kyota on our floor in San Jose.
We sell these chairs, which is a conflict of interest and you should read this knowing that. The way we deal with it is to be specific about what the brand does badly as well as what it does well. If a section below reads like an advert, ignore it.

Where it is genuinely strong
4D low in the range. Six of eight chairs are 4D and the cheapest sits under $5,000. No other brand we carry reaches 4D that early, and for most buyers this is the single most useful fact about Kyota.
The longest published track. The Joubu M880 publishes 53 inches. If your complaint sits below the beltline, that number is the one to beat.
Body scanning at a mid-range price. The Hatsumei M900 AI reads your frame and adjusts in real time, at a price where that is unusual. It is the chair we point households with very different heights toward.
Where it falls short
The flagship does not go as far as Infinity. The Nokori M980 is a genuinely capable dual-mechanism chair, but Infinity steps above it. If you want the most chair money can buy on our floor, Kyota is not where it ends.
Warranty is a step below Infinity. Four years frame against five, two years parts against three. Published and honest, just not the strongest.
Design is functional rather than expressive. Nothing here is trying to be furniture. If the chair has to look like it belongs in a styled room, look at BodyFriend.
Who it suits
A first-time buyer with a mid-range budget, or anyone whose priority is lower-back and glute coverage.
