The C82 Pro Explorer is the open-frame counterpart to Chanenn's enclosed C81 Pro. Where that chair wraps you in a pod and works toward sleep, this one is built around reach. A 130cm SL guide rail follows the spine from the base of the neck down through the thigh, covering six zones in a single pass rather than stopping at the lower back the way a shorter rail does.
The mechanism is double 4D, and the two halves run on separate control systems. The upper and lower drives each work their own zone, so your shoulders and your hips can be treated at different pressures and rhythms at the same time. On top of the usual three axes the 4D layer adds forward and backward travel, which is what lets the chair hold pressure on one point the way a thumb does instead of rolling straight past it.
Two optical sensors set it up for you before the program starts. One finds your shoulder height and maps pick points down the full back; the other reads the curve of your spine by tactile detection and keeps adapting as you settle. Pressure, position and speed sensors adjust strength and width while the massage runs. Six techniques alternate through it: shiatsu, kneading, push and knead, tuina, scraping and percussion.
Airbags wrap the shoulders, arms, calves, ankles and feet, and heat runs across the waist and legs. The leg rest extends 15cm under power to suit taller users, and double rows of rollers work the soles. Zero gravity has three positions, reclining to 126 degrees. Day to day you drive it from a seven-inch touchscreen, or from a car-style panel on the armrest when you want to change something without interrupting the massage. Bluetooth speakers sit in the headrest and a magnetic pad charges your phone beside you.
